This policy explains how AP Labs (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on this website and in the applications we publish. AP Labs is the data controller for that information. Our contact details are at the end of this page.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email or call us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
Information collected automatically on this website. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and reliability purposes. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Information in our applications. Each application we publish states, in its own store listing and in-app privacy notice, exactly what data it collects. Where an application collects personal data, it does so only for the functionality described in that listing.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and to provide services a client has engaged us for.
- To operate, secure and maintain this website and our applications.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Legal basis
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, on performance of a contract with you, on our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, or on compliance with a legal obligation.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf — for example cloud hosting, email and error-reporting providers — under contracts that limit them to our instructions. We also disclose information where the law requires it. Some of these providers operate outside India; where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate contractual safeguards.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months, client project records for as long as the engagement lasts and for the period afterwards required by tax and accounting law, and server logs for up to 90 days.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls limited to staff who need access, and reputable cloud infrastructure. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict or object to how we use it. You may also withdraw consent where we relied on it. Write to admin@aplabs.tech and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
Our website and our business services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through them. Where an individual application is intended for a younger audience, its own store listing and in-app notice set out the additional protections that apply. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, say so on this website.
